Economy ministry: Russian industrial output falls 0.6% in July
MOSCOW, Aug 15 (PRIME) -- Russia’s industrial production fell by 0.6% on the month in July on a seasonally adjusted basis, a representative of the Economic Development Ministry told PRIME on Monday.
“According to a preliminary estimate, the manufacturing index decreased by 0.6% month-on-month on a seasonally adjusted basis in July,” the person said.
The largest downward contribution to the fall came from manufacturing, which went down 0.9% in the period.
Earlier the Federal State Statistics Service said that excluding seasonal factors, Russia’s industrial output fell 0.9% on the month in July.
